Transfer an Existing Donor-Advised Fund

Transferring an existing donor-advised fund from an alternate DAF provider is easy.

Here are the steps:

1. The client (or someone from your firm on their behalf) recommends a grant to University Impact for the entire balance of the existing DAF. The DAF provider will likely need the following information:

Entity Name: University Impact

EIN: 82-150-4018

Address: 3507 North University Ave, Suite 125, Provo, UT 84604

2. Once the grant is requested, please EMAIL UI Charitable Advisors to notify the Operations Team: support@uicharitable.org

3. The DAF provider will then mail a check to University Impact for the requested amount. 

4. Once received, UI Charitable’s Operations Team will confirm with both you and your client.

5. University Impact will deposit the check, then work with your team to transfer the funds into the client’s custodian account.
